Reserves
Trying to check out that popular best seller or that book you saw mentioned on TV? You could be patient and wait for the book's popularity to ebb, or for a modest fee you could place a reserve on the book so that it will be held for you to check out. You can come in to the Library, go to the Reference Desk, and the librarian can assist you in placing a hold. You also place your own reserves online by setting up an online account. You will be notified by phone when your book is ready. Books can be picked up at the Reference Desk. See the Fees and Fines page to find out what the modest fee is.
